2) Being an intercessor places us in our very own ministry. Our commitment to pray for others
is a calling from God. He has chosen us for this special work.
3) We are part of a worldwide fellowship of sacrifice and service to God.
4) We are God's instruments to work out His divine plan in the lives of others. He uses us to
minister, heal, bless, honor, and release His power in the world.
5) God builds our faith into a mighty tool as we witness His never-failing promise to answer
our petitions.
6) Our prayers restrain the works of Satan and his minions in their goal to destroy the righteous
plans of God and His people. We are soldiers on the front lines in the battle between good and
evil.
7) Prayer is the most divine act we can perform for the kingdom of God. It is a selfless action
that glorifies God.

to carry out God's heavenly mission.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to His will He

petitions that we desired of Him. 1 John 5:14-15.
